Welcome to Peacock Trading - Livestock Division

Peacock Trading was formed in 1987 as a cash meat broker, doing a majority of our futures business with livestock hedgers and cash meat customers.  We became licensed with the National Futures Association and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to become a futures broker to handle the growing futures side of the business.  We developed a good following in agricultural commodities and with the appearance of financial futures we expanded into these markets as a natural extension of our then current agricultural business.

Our Specialty...

Trade Live Hogs,

Livestock Futures Trading - Trade Hogs

We have specialized the cash meat brokerage industry for more than 25 years!  In 2007 alone we booked approximately 36 million pounds of meat for our cash customers.  The USDA is in constant contact with us for cash trades and information, which in turn is disseminated amongst numerous wire services and reporting agencies worldwide.  Click here to see where we fall in the chain of pricing information.  Due to our specialization in the cash livestock markets, we have come to understand differing market forces such as packer's demand, buyer's reactions and wholesaler's supply and demand, along with historical seasonal patterns.  We believe this background give us an edge in livestock futures markets.
